You'll
fish from a clean 18' Action Craft flats skiff, powered
by a reliable Yamaha 150 h.p. 4 stroke outboard. The
boat is dry, stable, and equipped with two padded chairs
for your comfort. There is a casting deck forward for
two anglers to stand on while sight casting. You do
not need a Florida fishing license, as the boat's license
includes all the anglers that are on board.
The
boat has dry storage enough for a medium gear bag or
two, and has a cooler with ice for your drinks and lunch.
I have two sets of raingear on board (large) if a shower
catches us. Don't worry about thunderstorms... I'm allergic
to lightning!
THE
RODS AND REELS...
Whether
you fish with spinning rods or like to throw a
fly, the fishing equipment is first class. You're
welcome to bring your own tackle, however please
make sure it's up to the task. Drags should be
smooth without any startup pressure, and both
spinning reels and fly reels should have at least
200 yards of line or backing. These are big Bonefish
here!
Don't
let the fish of your life get away because of
not enough line! For Bonefish or Redfish, 10#
test should work fine. In the Backcountry, 8#
test shouldn't give you any problem. Most times,
it's a lot easier to use my equipment than to
lug yours around the airports.

WHAT TO BRING...
Here's
a short list of items you should bring on the
boat.
1.
Sunscreen (#15 or higher).
2. Long sleeved shirt and pants, even in the summer!
Trust me.
3. A jacket heavier than a windbreaker for those
winter "cold front" runs!
4. Something to drink and eat. Remember, I have
a cooler with ice.
5. Sunglasses, preferably polarized.
6. Baseball or brimmed hat.
See
you on the boat!
